The popular Phuket Soccer 7s tournament will celebrate its 8th anniversary this year. This tournament has developed into one of the largest and most sought after Soccer 7s tournaments in Asia. As a result of the huge interest generated, a second tournament will be held again to accommodate all teams, the 5th Andaman International Soccer 7s. These sport events in Phuket are invitation tournaments that provide a socially competitive environment for players who approach the game with the right attitude and in the right spirit. With no prize money at stake, teams take part for one reason only, their love of soccer. The 2 weekend tournaments are as follows:
* 5th Andaman International Soccer 7s – 20/21 Nov 2010 (Phuket)
Categories: Open & Masters O’35s
* 8th Phuket International Soccer 7s – 27/28 Nov 2010
Categories: Open & Masters O’40s
At this stage, over 75 teams from 17 countries are confirmed and a dozen of teams are on waiting list. This year, teams will come from all over Asia, mostly expatriates including from Middle-East and also from England, France and Germany.
