Pud Jor and Kiw Tien Keng Shrines invite people to donate powdered milk to needy Phuket children

Childwatch Phuket Association who are trying to get powdered milk to needy children in Phuket told Phuketindex.com that the increasing price of consumables is directly affecting the families with low income, especially, the families whose children were younger than 3 years old. These families sometimes did not have enough money to buy milk for their children. Consequently, the children did not get enough nutrients especially from milk. This directly affected the children’s growth.

So Childwatch had helped to find donated milk for the children in poor families with the participation of the Phuket Shrine Association led by Teerawuth Sritulalak, the President of the association. People could donate the milk to help the poor children at Pud Jor Shrine on Ranong Road and Kiw Tien Keng Shrine in the area of Sapan Hin. The Childwatch Phuket Association is sending its staff to survey if any family needed donated milk and would bring the milk to them later.
