A Student taught by local charity blitzes it in English competition.
11 year old Jaida Doomluck was recently awarded 2nd place in the Phuket Educational Skills Competition – Story Telling section.
Jaida, a student at The Baan Kalim School in Kalim, came in 2nd after telling a story about a monkey and a fox in English. She was competing with other 10-12 year olds from all over Phuket.
Jaida’s teacher, Teacher Agie from Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation, is delighted with her success.
‘Jaida is an excellent student, studies hard and is confident with her English. Her classmates were very excited about her achievement.’
The competition was held at Kajonkiet International School in Phuket Town from July 11-16 and involved a total of 78 government schools in Phuket.
Charity foundation Phuket Has Been Good To Us has been offering free English language education at The Baan Kalim School for the past 7 years.
