To celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns, a Burns Supper will be held on the 25th of January 2013, at the yet-to-be-opened Pullman Phuket Arcadia, Naithon Beach.
This will be a sophisticated evening of Scottish fun. Whisky cocktails and free-flow wine will be provided, as a well as a Scottish-themed five course dinner – including Angus steak and Haggis. In keeping with Burns Supper tradition, guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of their favourite whisky for the table.
Tickets are 4,500 THB, or 40,000 THB for a table of 10 booked before January 11th.
Dress code is formal, highland dress or black tie.
Silent auctions and raffles will also be held throughout the evening, with prizes including accommodation at a luxury villa on a golf course in South Africa. Proceeds from the evening will go to the Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation, a Thai registered charity which aims to foster vocational opportunities for Thai children through English language education.
