PSS pays 11 million baht on Obstetric Welfare

Phuket Social Security Office (PSS) revealed that in 2009, the office had paid over 11 million baht of obstetric welfare to 512 social security card holders who gave birth at Wachira Phuket Hospital. PSS has set up its own welfare payment system in Wachira Phuket Hospital and pays the social security card holders for obstetric fees and maternity leave compensation.

The card holders who give birth at Wachira Phuket Hospital can receive the welfare money at the hospital every Monday and Friday. In addition, the card holders who give birth at other hospitals can bring obstetrical payment
receipts or related documents to show and get the welfare money at the Social Security Office nationwide.
