PPAO President opens PPAO’s Tax Service Project

PPAOOn June 17th 2011 at 8.30 a.m. Mr. Paiboon Upatising, the President of Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization or PPAO presided over the opening of PPAO’s new project call PPAO’s Tax Service. The event was held in front of the Driving License Building, Phuket Transportation Office. There were PPAO executives and staff and the related government officers attended the event.

Mr.Teerayuth Prasertpon, Head of Phuket Transportation Office (PTO) said that “According to the Tax Service Project of PPAO, PTO has received 1,356,135.28 baht of money to build the shelter and rest room in the office area for people coming to pay the tax at PTO. Moreover, the money was also used in landscaping around PTO. This ensures that also tax that people paid is used to develop the government offices and public utility in the local. PTO has the duty to excise the vehicle concern tax from the locals in Phuket. In 2009, PTO handed over 264,410,645 baht of excised tax to PPAO. Today, we would like to thank PPAO for giving us the shelter, the restrooms, and the beautiful landscape back to us.”

Mr.Paiboon said that “PPAO is pleased to help supporting the local government office. The Tax Service Project represents the good coordination between PPAO and PTO. The shelter, the restroom, and the new garden are constructed to facilitate the local coming to pay the tax at PTO. On the behalf of PPAO, I would like to thank PTO in excising the tax and allocating it the many local administrative organization in Phuket. PPAO received around 250 million baht of budget from this.”
