Police guard government offices, oil tanks and banks in Phuket

After sabotages took place in different parts of Bangkok, north and northeast provinces, Pol. Maj. Gen. Pikad Tantipong, the Commander of Phuket Provincial Police, narrated that police had strictly guarded government offices, oil tanks or depots, banks and TV stations in Phuket to assure the locals and tourists that the island was safe from any violence.

He expressed confidence that there would not be any bad situations in Phuket. The police had been working very hard to maintain a peaceful ambience here.
