Phuket worries entrepreneurs might take advantage of tourists during Songkran

On April 8th, 2010, at the meeting room of Phuket Provincial Hall, Teerayuth Aiumtrakul, a vice governor of Phuket, presided over a meeting of the Consumer Protection Board.

The main agenda of the meeting was to keep an eye on the business entrepreneurs that might take advantage of tourists during Songkran Festival. Therefore, Teerayuth asked the related officers to check product prices in order to
prevent tourists being taken advantage of by local traders.

In addition, they discussed a performance report of the Consumer Protection Board and the consideration to establish the Consumer Protection Clubs in Phuket.
