Phuket Police help CRES in Bangkok

Wichai Praisa-ngob, the Governor of Phuket, said that the concern about protests and violence in Bangkok has made Phuket enhance its own security system to ensure that the island was safe from violence 24 hours a day.

He further asked Phuket residents to put the national flags in front of their houses to make visitors see how loyal they are to the nation, the religion, and HM the king.

Meanwhile Pol. Maj. Gen. Pikad Tantipong, the commander of Phuket Provincial Police, informed reporters that 173 mass-control police officers were sent to help the Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation or CRES to prevent violent situations due to the protests in Bangkok.
