On February 5, 2014, a management meeting was held at PPAO to monitor various PPAO-approved projects. The meeting was chaired by Chief Executive – Paiboon Upattising and was participated by PPAO executives, departmental heads, officials, along with executives from PPAO Hospital and PPAO-managed schools.
The projects discussed at the meeting were:
Announcement of successful candidates who passed PPAO entry tests
Potential development of local community in preparation for the upcoming ASEAN
Announcement of places available for prospective students at PPAO schools
Opening of Pru Pa Public Park on February 2, 2014
Mobile PPAO (Or Bor Jor Sanjorn) in CherngTalay on March 15, 2014
Two Heroines Festival, held from March 13-15 2014 at the Kok Chana Pamah area in Thalang
Children’s Summer Sports Training which opens for registration between February 20 – March 5 2014, at Tourism and Sports Division at PPAO.
The meeting also discussed vocational training courses for 2014. Organized yearly by PPAO, this year’s courses comprise of four subjects, as follows:
Silk Screening from February 25-27 at Prachakom Hall for 40 participants
Cooking: roast duck, roast pork, BBQ red pork, meat balls, and Moo Yor sausage from March 3-6 at Phuket Vocational College for 60 participants
Cooking: Briyani rice, roti bread, Indian salad, fish curry from May 7-9 at Senior Citizen Network Club for 60 participats
Tok Sen or body tapping for health from July 7-11 Salaprachakom Hall, Phuket Town for 60 participants
Each participant is allowed to apply for one course only. Those interested can register at the Social Development Section, PPAO.
