2.5 million baht house is 1st prize of Phuket New Year & Red Cross Festival

phuketOn December 9th, Tri Akaradecha, the Governor of Phuket, handed over title deeds of a 2 storey town-house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in Panason Villa Bor Rae to Nalinee Akaradecha, the President of Phuket Red Cross. The house will be the first prize for a person who wins the Red Cross lucky draw in the Phuket New Year 2011 and Red Cross Festival.

The festival will be held on December 30th 2010 – January 9th 2011 in the area of Sapan Hin Park’s central stage. Apart from the 2.5 million baht house, there are 84 more prizes including a pick up truck, motorbikes, 32” LCD TV, refrigerators, 21” TV, and electronic fans. The prizes are supported by private and government sectors in Phuket. Apart from the lucky draw, there will be a fish catching game. The winner of each night will be rewarded with a motorbike. Phuket Red Cross invites Phuket residents and tourists to buy Red Cross Tickets and join the activities in the festival. There are not many tickets left since people had bought them in advance.
