On November 22nd 2010, the marine police got a report from a ship called Angel 1, a Hong Kong oil ship transferring oil from Singapore to India, that their captain died in his room and the ship asked the police to bring the body back to shore.  The dead captain was Mr. Weihua Guan Gong, aged 58 years old. His death was apparently mysterious. The marine police together with volunteers from Kusoldharma Foundation went to receive the dead body at Tapao Noi Island and brought it back to the shore for further post mortem investigation to find the cause of death.

At the captain’s room, the police found no evidence of fighting and there was nothing indicating fighting on the body. The crew on board said that after working, the captain went to relax in his room and the crew reported his death to the police at 6.00 p.m.
