Phuket bus line 3 extended

Phuket bus line 3 extendedOn February 6th 2014, a meeting to discuss Phuket public transport system (Rot Kon Song) was held by PPAO. This regular meeting, the first of 2014, was chaired by PPAO Chief Executive – Paiboon Upattising and participated by the relevant steering committee, namely: Chief Administrator – Watcharin Pathomwattanapong, Council Members – Prasit Sinsaowapark, Thira Jiasakul and Sithichok Dechapibal, together with acting Director of Transport Division – Prasit Yotharak and other relevant PPAO offices.

According to Mr. Paiboon, the meeting discussed and approved the rental fees of advertising banners attached to the sides of Phuket public buses (Rot Po Tong) at 3,000 baht per month for one side only, with a reduced rate of 5,000 baht for both sides. Additionally, the meeting agreed to increase the service of bus line 3 to include Wirathongyok Road (Chao Fah Variety Market), Wichit Songkram School, Darasamuth School, and Koh Sireh Island so that more public can make use of the new route.
