Phuket asks people to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the royal marriage

Wichai Praisa-ngob, the Governor of Phuket, informed that there will be a nationwide celebration of the H.M. the King Bhumipol and H.M. the Queen Sirikit’s 60th anniversary of royal marriage & their Coronation during May 5th-9th, 2010. During the mentioned days, each province will exhibit royal activities of HM the King and the Queen. There also will be OTOP or Thailand local products fair and a booth for people to sign and bless the royal couple.

In Phuket, there will be an official celebration at Sapan Hin Park on May 5th from 6.00 p.m.- 8.00 p.m. Wichai invited people to join the celebration on the mentioned date and time. In addition, he also asked people to show their loyalty to HM the king by putting the national flag of Thailand in front of their houses.
