Phuket and the Employers Discuss about Nationalities verifying for Foreign Labors

Phuket Merlin Hotel, February 3rd, 2010, Tri Akaradecha, the Vice Governor of Phuket, and Noppadon Poyudee, the Head of Phuket Labor Office, and government officers met the employers of foreign labors consisting Laos, Burmese and Cambodian, to discuss about the way to recruit those labors to apply for the Nationality Verifying.
Noppadon referred about the announcement from the board of ministers to extend the national verifying and work permit for Laos, Burmese and Cambodian labors working in Thailand.Tthere are 64,105 foreign labors working in Phuket included 587 Laos, 47 Cambodians, and 63,471 Burmeses, consequently, those labors must apply for their work permit within February 28th ,2010. So this meeting was held to discuss with the employers about how to get those labors into the nationality verifying system and educate them what are their right staying and working in Thailand.
Tri said that it is important to set up the efficient verifying system for those labors since they are the basis of Phuket business movement. He also assigned the related officers to find out the way for this which will make the province take care and control the labors easier.
