Phuket’s ‘Agri-Nature Centre’ is located on 38-rai of land in Moo 2, Vichit Sub-district. The centre has dedicated itself to His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Economy Theory, farming for self reliance.
If you travel to Thepnimit Temple (near Vichit Municipality) you will find the entrance to the Centre positioned roughly opposite to the entrance of the temple.
Khun Suthep Anekpinittham is the Director of Phuket “Agri-nature Centre” and he revealed that when he arrived here in Phuket he was persuaded to explore the area where the centre now stands as its area had an agricultural background. “We felt that here we had the perfect opportunity to put His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Economy Theory into practice.
The Agri-Nature Centre consists of a hydroponic growing building, soil growing plantations, herb gardens, biodiesel production plant, bio-organic fertilizer production, multi-purpose solution manufacturing, charcoal making and so much more including a building for those who want to learn and put HM The King’s theory to use.
This centre has no particular person as its owner. The Board of Directors are people who hope the Centre can spark ideas for many people, because this knowledge can take advantage of the things around you for happiness in life. They can lead to activities that incorporate family and society, and of course if they absorb the theory they can apply it to everything in life.
HM the King’s Sufficiency Economy philosophy is not difficult to understand and it is easy to achieve, you just need to open your mind and pay enough attention to it. Come to us for a free training.”
