‘Phuket Police’ come back safely from duty during ‘Bangkok protests’

After being sent to help control the protests in Bangkok during May 13th – 24th 2010, 167 police came back home and were warmly welcomed by their commanders, friends and families. They said it was good to hear that no police from Phuket died in the protests. There were only 2 police injured in an M79 attack.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Pikad Tantipong, said that this group of police was sent to relay with former groups working in Bangkok during April 26th – May 14th 2010.
