Muslims in Phuket celebrated Aidilfitri Festival

On September 10th 2010, Muslim residents of Phuket went to mosques near their homes to mark the end of Ramadan period at the Aidilfitri Festival after the moon was seen at 6.40pm. At Kamala, a lot of Muslins locals went to pray in the mosque. The area inside the mosque was not enough so some of them had to pray outside.

After praying, each family got together, had a ‘break-fast’ meal, and donated money to needy people following the Islamic regulations.
