Muang Phuket Police Station Provides CCTV Train

February 5th , 2010, Police General Wanchai Akeporapit , the vice president of Muang Phuket Police Station, presided over the opening of CCTV Training provided to the accident victims hit by drunken drivers and the police station’s officers.  

P.G.Wanchai mentioned that formerly there were only 16 CCTV installed in different points around Muan District, but recently, more 53 CCTV were supported to be installed in the area by Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization. Therefore, the offices are planning to installed them spread Wichit, Rassada, and Koh Keaw sub districts.

CCTV is not only the important key to prevent crimes, but it’s also helps the police to keep an eyes on people who intend to break the traffic law since there are the trained officers and accident victims look at the monitors 24 hours so they can focus the accident scene to find out the car’s license plate, types, logos, colors or even driver’s face easily.
