Phuket PAO inspects dilapidated Baan Mai Khao SchoolOn July 13th 2013, Chief Executive of Phuket Provincial Administration Organization (PPAO) – Mr. Paiboon Upattising visited Baan Mai Khao School to inspect repairs needed to the school bulding.  Ms.Aree Bowdang – Head Teacher of Baan Mai Khoa School, together with teachers and students joined to welcome Khun Paiboon for his visit.

Khun Paiboon said “Having now visited and inspected Baan Mai Khao School, I am in agreement with Educational Service Area Office, who have inspected previously and reported that the school has suffered a lot of damage. Today I had the opportunity to see the damage for myself and have found that the school buildings are very dilapidated, thus meaning that many of the rooms cannot be used for teaching the children. As a result I will now be instructing engineers to come out and survey the buildings as soon as possible. The school has suffered too much damage and we will be setting out a budget so that repairs can be carried out next year.”

Ms Aree added “I am extremely glad and thankful that the Khun Paiboon has personally visited Baan Mai Khao School and now knows the problems school has and how much help we need. Khun Paiboon has promised that he will be able to find the solutions to make sure the school is repaired by next year.”
