Deputy Chief Executive – Mr. Soratham Jinda said “PPAO has continually worked with Phuket community leaders as our Chief Executive Mr. Paiboon Upattising acknowledges that the role played by community leaders is no less important than that of local administration office leaders. The community leaders, who represent our micro society, can contribute greatly to our rural development. In fact, both parties have an equal role to play. Our Chief Executive has always supported activities of sub-district heads and village leaders and this program will enhance their vision further so that they can bring back the knowledge and experience gained from this trip to bear on their communities.”

Mr. Soratham continued: “Sub-district heads and village leaders are one of Thailand institutions. Therefore, you should be proud to be pillars of our society. Thus I urge all of you to be respectable leaders and solve community problems as best you can so that your charges can depend on you. Even if we don’t have a budget to give you for solving minor disputes, I believe you can use your power as leaders to effect good and suitable outcome.”

“I hope that this field trip to other provinces will increase your experience and skills in the administration of your sub-districts and villages, and all its personnel components such as heads, community police, village heads assistants, community doctors, among others. I hope you have a successful workshop and a good trip. Finally, I would like to thank PPAO, its departmental heads, all relevant sectors, and speakers. Have a safe trip,” concluded the Deputy Chief Executive.
