Phuket Governor planted sugar palm trees at Chalong Temple

On September 25th, Wichai Praisa-ngob, the Governor of Phuket, together with his wife Taisika Praisa-ngob who is the President of Phuket Red Cross, and other government officers, went to Chalong Temple in order to plant nine sugar palm trees along the fence of the temple. The sugar palm trees were planted to make the area shadier.

On September 26th, the Governor and the president of Phuket Red Cross went to Lattiwanaram Temple (Wad Tai) to plant another nine sugar palm trees in the area of the temple. The governor said that the sugar palm trees were also planted in the area of the governor’s residence, Phuket Provincial Hall, and Phuket Provincial Police Station to make the areas looked nice. Moreover, a lot of sugar palm trees were planted at Promthep Cape on September 18th in order to recover the previous beautiful scenery of Promthep Cape which in the past impressed visitors from all over the world.
