Phuket’s plastic bag free campaign starts on Valentine’s Day

Phuket Province is in preparing for plastic bag free campaign starting on this Valentine’s Day. The kick off event will be held at Central Festival Phuket during January 13-15th. Activities in the event include shows and exhibition from businesses and malls in Phuket.

The campaign is part of the province effort to reduce wastes since the existing incinerator and the landfill cannot support everyday’s garbage as much as 500 tons anymore.
