This project will have several ways in dealing with the tourist’s safety, we will divide the Safety Zone in Patong into six zones, these zones will be allocated with 6-8 police officers per zone and they will collect local information for their allocated zone in relation to taxi operators and the number CCTV points. There will also be representatives and volunteers provided to each zone to work together with the police. Integration of private sector CCTV systems will also be arranged and businesses in those areas will be able to monitor the area’s CCTVs via their Internet. To work, this campaign needs the cooperation sectors ensuring the security and safety of our tourists.”
