Phuket’s unique boutique condo development scooped two prestigious awards given out at a two-day Property & Hospitality Summit at the J. W. Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on 26 and 27 April.
Bluepoint Condos won two highly coveted awards in two competitive categories. Bluepoint won a highly commended accolade for ‘Development Multiple Units – Thailand’ and a five-star achievement for ‘Best Architecture Multiple Residence – Thailand’.
Bluepoint Condos have also very recently won an architectural award from the Ontario Association of Architects for the design of their onsite sales pavilion and the development’s environmentally friendly louver design won the 2009 Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s ‘Excellence Innovations In Architecture’ award.
Bluepoint’s Canadian designer Paul Raff said of the recent accolade, “We are honoured to be recognised by an expert jury for both artistry and sustainable innovation in architecture. I look forward to designing future projects of a similar calibre.” He adds, “We enjoyed working with a great international team of developers to achieve a really unique and marketable development.”
The Asia Pacific region has produced a record number of entries from 17 different countries for this year’s International Property Awards. No other region has come anywhere near matching this feat in the entire 18-year history of the International Property Awards.
