On October 19th, Bangkok Hospital Phuket launched its ‘Alternative and Acupuncture Clinic’. Dr. Kongkiat Ketpetch, the Director of the Hospital, said that the hospital had been providing acupuncture programs for Thai and foreign customers and it was very popular. The increasing numbers of the patients made the hospital decide to open this ‘Alternative and Acupuncture Clinic’.
Acupuncture was approved by World Health Organization and Food and Drug Organization, U.S.A. He added the ancient Chinese treatment of acupuncture could help cure people who were suffering from muscle pains, strokes, fatigue, cerebral palsy, paralysis, weight loss, Alzheimer, migraines, headaches, stomach aches, etc, if used in conjunction or balance with other treatment.
