Our island offers superior hospitality and services, but we must still focus on the tourist safety and security. PPAO has put in place life guards which have save around 700-800 tourists a year, so we can rest assured that tourists will enjoy the New Year activities. In regards to environment and cleanliness, we are working with Seek Phuket Foundation who will make sure the town is clean and tidy during the festival. During the fair, there will be activities that feature Phuket’s multicultural heritage. We are given support by both government and private sectors to drive Phuket towards being a proud member of AEC.”
